1940's Girl's Good Grooming Checklist from Procter & Gamble

This piece of paper is from Procter & Gamble in the 1940's as a reminder for young ladies on how to prepare themselves in the morning. Imagine someone handing you this and saying "I think you need to use this". The first thing we want to do when we wake up is fill out a form!

That looks exhausting! Just what everyone needs, a report card every morning.

I don't blame them. That was considered to be fashion and stylish at that time. I just winder how fast the world is changing and how quickly we are adapting to the changes. I still like the 70's look.

..And make sure that you buy, and use, lots of our consumer products, made from petroleum, every day! Spend more money on our synthetic chemicals!

I wish some of you skanks WOULD use this checklist. Since when did sweatpants, flip-flops and a ponytail under a baseball cap become acceptable for practically any occasion? Or worse; what is with the pajama bottoms and house slippers outdoors? In public? Shopping? When did that become OK?
