New York - Miss Ann Ellin of Spring Valley, N.Y., a woman cancer patient at Bellevue hospital has undergone fifty-six hours of continuous exposure under 250,000 volts of x-rays. The patient suffered no burns and was able to eat and sleep throughout the treatment. Dr. I Seth Hirsch, head of the x-ray laboratories said this marks the test of a new method which gave the rays a radiation that would kill the cancerous cells and leave the healthy ones unharmed.
